Our History

Certainly Cinnamon is one of Halifax’s oldest and largest off site catering and agenda management companies. Founded in 1989 as a small family run bakery and coffee shop.

Certainly Cinnamon now boasts a full and part time staff of over 50 people and implements foodservice programs throughout the greater HRM. Owners Scott and Donna Colwell have extensive family history in Halifax and are dedicated professionals whose hard work and high standards have made Certainly Cinnamon one of Nova Scotia’s most popular caterers.

We also have our full service restarant. The Wooden Door Bistro Quality Inn Halifax Airport opened in 2006.
